Envelop me...

Using a standard Bic Biro pen, London-based artist Mark Powell creates delicate, detailed portraits of the aged on the backs of old envelopes. One, I love the simplicity of sketches. Two, his subject matter is quite endearing to me. And three, by using a canvas that is a precious bearer of a dying form of communication, he completes a romantic trifecta with his art.
